HE died for you!

It's true!  Jesus Christ died for YOU!  Before Christ, the Jewish Mosaic Law required that sacrifices of various kinds be offered by the Priest for the sins of the people.  The Old Testament Book of Isaiah told of "The Christ" 850 years before Jesus was born.  So the Priests, the Sadducee and Pharisees knew that "The Christ" would come and they knew HE would establish the Kingdom of the Lord.  They even knew that HE would be brutally tortured and crucified.

So, here we are , almost 2000 years after the Crucifixion, Death, burial, Resurrection and Ascension, of Jesus Christ.  Yet we still doubt the power of Christ.  But the fact is, Jesus fulfilled everything the prophesies predicted.

The sacrifices of the Mosaic Law were a a precursor of the "Perfect"sacrifice that would bridge the gap between the sinfulness of mankind and the Perfection required by GOD for admission into HIS Heaven!   Jesus was not only the Perfect Sacrifice but also the Righteous Priest to make the Sacrifice!  Remember Jesus told us: "I lay down MY life  No man can take it from me."  Jesus offered HIMSELF as the perfect Sacrifice, required by GOD, to pay the price for the sins of all mankind.  The sins committed by you and me.  HE died for us!

But, Jesus also told us; "No man comes unto the LORD except through ME!"  Since it can be proven that JESUS fulfilled all of the prophetic writings about "The Christ" and since His life and death are historically recorded, not just in the Bible, there is NO logical reason to doubt the Deity of Christ!

JESUS is "The Christ" and HE is THE Perfect Sacrifice and was made of you and me.

Easter, is a celebration of HIS resurrection! Turn your hearts to the Lord.  Repent from your sins.  Confess your sins to GOD, in Jesus Name, and you WILL be forgiven.  Turn from your worldly ways and concentrate on GOD.  Jesus offered you the free gift of Salvation!  It is free to all who will accept it.  Will you?

Easter

When I was a young boy, my Parents rented a house from the people who owned the Puritas Springs Amusement Park on Puritas Avenue in Cleveland Ohio.  I played with their youngest son and therefore, the park was my playground.  I remember one Good Friday.  I was riding my two wheel bike around the park watching the vendors work on their stands getting ready for the park to Open in May.  I was about six, so it was about 1957 or so.  In any case, I was riding near the Custard stand.  I knew the people who operated the Custard stand and the Father was standing on a ladder, working on the neon lights that swirled and circled the Custard stand.  All off the sudden, the Father jumped straight and then fell off the ladder.   At the time, I did not know or understand that he was electrocuted.  His wife and daughter were holding him, crying, and the daughter kept saying; "Why do they call this Good Friday?"

Naturally, I did not have the answer then but now I do.  Hopefully, that Father had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and at that moment,  in the twinkling of an eye, the Father was in Heaven!  You see, they call it Good Friday because Jesus paid the complete price for our sins.  GOD's perfect plan to redeem sinful man and make THE way for mankind to enter Heaven.   On THAT Friday, on Calvary, on a Cross, Jesus paid the price for our sins.  No more imperfect animal sacrifices, just one perfect sacrifice that paid the price, once and for all who will name the name of Jesus.

So, this Friday would be a great time to thank JESUS for HIS sacrifice and suffering on YOUR behalf.  Jesus said; "I am the way, the truth, and the light.  No man comes unto the Lord except through Me."

Pray for Pastor Saeed Abedini

In case you don't follow the news, Pastor Saeed Abedini is a prisoner in an Iranian prison.  He is a prisoner because he is a Christian!  He is a prisoner because Christianity is illegal in Iran and punishable by death!  He is in Prison because he loves Jesus Christ!  He is a prisoner of his faith!  He is an American!  He is a husband and a Father of two young Children!

I ask you to pray for Pastor Abedin's safety, his health, his release.  But mostly, I ask you to pray for GOD's strength during his ordeal!!

He is being tortured and has been seriously injured to the point of internal bleeding!  His captors want him to die, but GOD wants him to be a witness for GOD!!  Pastor Abedini is a brave man, for Christ.  He converted from Islam to Christianity knowing it could lead to his death!!  He has continually stood for the Good News of Jesus Christ even when his own life is threatened.

Again, I beseech you Brethren, to PRAY, with all you might, all the time, for GOD's will in Pastor Abedini's case.  It is time to be prayer warriors!  It is time to turn our hearts toward GOD and to put away useless wastes of time like computer games, movies, sports, and reruns.  It is TIME to earnestly join Pastor Abedini in his time of need!  Pray to GOD for his protection and strength for Pastor Abedini.  Again, I say PRAY, NOW!!

The battle is now!

I read an article the other day that stated that in Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood was eradicating any symbol of Christianity.  It went on to say they were removing any tattoos from Christians bodies, immediately when and where they were found, using acid!   The article had a photograph of an unsuspecting man being dragged to the ground by a group of arab youths.

I must say that I am not surprised by this turn of events.  The radical Muslim faithful believe they must kill all who are not converted to their faith.  Removing tattoos with acid is mild compared to their normal behavior toward Christians and Jews.

Another article stated that there were advertisements on busses in San Francisco stating;  "Killing Jews is worship too".  If the poster stated the same about Muslims, there would be a loud outcry from the Progressive, Liberal, media.  But, it is just a Jew, so who cares!   Now you know I do not feel that way, but the media permits and even encourages discrimination towards Jews and Christians.

We truly do live in interesting and troubled times.  But fear not!  Our God, the God of the universe, is in charge.  He has a plan that was set in motion before He made the universe.  His plan is perfect and his timing is perfect.  We don't understand his plan, but again I say, Fear Not.  Just trust in God and everything will be fine.

Oh, there is one other thing.  Witness to others!  We are part of God's perfect plan and he told us to spread the Gospel.  So, tell someone today, about the Good News of Jesus Christ!

It's time for Christian Teamwork!

I have decided to resurrect this site since I believe it is time for Christians of all denominations to join together, worldwide, to defend and further Christianity!  I watch the selection of the new Pope yesterday and I was very pleased with the selection of Pope Francis!  He is a man of the people, from humble roots, and dedicated to Jesus Christ.  Who could find fault with that?  Now, you may know or remember that I am an ordained Grace Brethren Pastor which is a very conservative denomination.   Many Christian denominations like to find fault with other Christian denominations.     Yes, we have differences and we can spend the rest of time, until Jesus returns, debating these differences.  But what good does that do?  Who is served by this inter-faith bickering?  Satan!!  Yes Satan is benefiting greatly from our family arguments!  Well, I say enough!  It is time to rally around that which we agree on!  That is, Jesus Christ;  His virgin birth, His ministry, His trial, His suffering, His Crucifixion, His death for our sins, His burial, His Resurrection, His ministry for 40 days after his Resurrection, His Ascension, and His return for His Church!

Jesus told us to; : "Go forth and make Disciples".   He did not tell us to go forth and find things to argue about!  For instance, Protestant Churches love to find fault with the Roman Catholic Church.  Well, it is not the Thirteenth Century and the Crusades are over.  The Catholic Church of today is involved in the same moral battles that the Protestant Church is.  The Catholic Church took the lead in the fight against abortion.  We need to join them, stand with them, not snipe at them.  We all agree on homosexuality.   The Catholic Church has lead in the battle to keep the sanctity of marriage.  You see, we agree on a lot.

So, I implore all Christians of ALL denominations to support the "Great Commission" and to join together with ALL Christians to accomplish this order!  It is time to form a team, not battle lines.  Our battle is not with each other, it is with Satan!

The Communists have won!

GOD has forsaken us.  We are damned!  Why, we turned from HIM and he has had enough.

Satan is in charge of this world!

When I was 14, my Dad told me about the Illuminati, the Trilateral commission, and the Council on Foreign Relations.  I thought he was wrong.  I had all the trust of youth.  Now I know he was right.  But the question still raises it's head;  Who controls THESE organizations?   Satan controls these people.  It is that simple.

America has turned it's collective back on GOD.  We don't pray, commit adultery, condone homosexuality, endorse sex out of marriage, encourage drugs, and tell our young adults that they are too young to do for themselves!  You can't get the pews filled in a church unless you put on a Rock Show every week!  What the Pastor says from the pulpit is not important.  But screaming guitars, thumping drums, driving base, and screaming voices is the most important thing EVERY Sunday!  The Pastor could read "Mary Had a Little Lamb" for his 20 minutes.   We have turned our backs on GOD and now, HE has turned HIS back on America!

Can we fix this?  Yes.  The Bible tells us that; "if MY people will turn their faces to GOD and confess their sins, I will heal their land." So, GOD offers us the way to solve this problem.  But, since Satan has such a strong hold on the society of America, I doubt we will.  We are comfortable, HAPPY, content, in our sin.

"You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free."  I know the truth and now so do you.  Do you feel free?!
